The upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will feature the company’s AI Magic Canvas, allowing users to create images from text prompts using AI.
Motorola has officially confirmed via X that the Edge 50 Ultra will be launching in India soon. This top-end model will join the flagship series, which already includes the Edge 50 Pro and the newly released Edge 50 Fusion. A Flipkart microsite has revealed key specs ahead of the launch, including advanced AI features.

Motorola India announced on X that the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will launch in the country on June 18. A Flipkart microsite reveals that the phone will feature a 6.7-inch display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen will also boast a peak brightness of 2500 nits and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and will support Moto AI, the company’s suite of AI features. This includes Magic Canvas, which allows users to create AI-generated images from text prompts.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, compared to the 16GB RAM available in the global version. Motorola promises three years of OS upgrades and up to four years of security updates.
The phone will support fast charging with up to 125W wired and 50W wireless options. It will also offer 10W wireless power sharing, so you can charge other devices like smartwatches and earbuds.
Motorola says the Edge 50 Ultra will include the Smart Connect feature, allowing users to stream apps to their PCs, copy and paste text and images, share data between devices, and even use the phone as a webcam.
