Contrast this with the performance of Hardik Pandya. In the same number of matches he he has an average of 26 and a strike rate of close of 145. Hardik Pandya has also been injury prone throughout his career, and in the 2023 World Cup also he left the tournament mid way after suffering ankle injury. Hardik who replaced Rohit Sharma as the captain of MI has failed to deliver both as a player and as a captain and has been massively booed and trolled by the fans. The trolling of Hardik is unprecedented as no other Indian player has been trolled before by the Indian fans in this way. The team for the World Cup will be announced soon and it will be a surprise if Hardik Pandya with his current form and state of mind finds a place in the team.
