Yogi Adityanath Subtle Message to Hindus on Janmashtami: Stay United

Agra: Yogi Adityanath the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister had a message for all Indians to stay united but the timing of his speech and his subtle messaging was enough to indicate that it was meant for Hindus. The UP CM was speaking on the occasion of Janmashtami at a public gathering in Agra. He said “Nothing is more important than our nation, and our strength comes from standing united. If we divide, we fall apart. Just look at what’s happening in Bangladesh—those are mistakes we cannot afford to make here in India. When we stay united, we grow together”

He also criticized the opposition for staying silent about the atrocities against Hindus in the neighboring country. He said, ‘Opposition leaders are afraid to speak up, worried that it might hurt their vote bank and weaken their political standing. They fear that addressing this issue could backfire on them. It’s ironic—they’re quick to voice their opinions on global matters like Palestine, yet they remain indifferent to what’s happening right next door in Bangladesh.'”

The UP CM is under pressure to perform well in the upcoming by-polls in 10 assembly seats after a less than satisfactory performance in the Lok Sabha elections. This speech is seen as a clarion call to the Hindu vote bank to stay united .
