Arvind Kejriwal will remain in jail till April 29 at least – 10 days after the Lok Sabha election begins – after the Supreme Court re-scheduled a petition against his arrest pending the Enforcement Directorate’s response. The top court gave the probe agency two weeks to respond to the Delhi Chief Minister’s plea.
The top court posted the plea of Kejriwal on the week commencing from April 29.Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi appearing for Arvind Kejriwal told the SC that the arrest was made to keep the Delhi CM away from campaigning.
